Inaugural GeoIgnite Location Technology Conference brings Geospatial back to Ottawa

The day has arrived!

Our advisory board, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors are thrilled to be welcoming you to the first GeoIgnite conference in Ottawa tomorrow.

Before the event officially begins, we want to take an opportunity to thank everyone who has generously donated their time and energy to make this inaugural event possible.

Firstly, to our Keynote speakers Keith Masback, Nadine Alameh, and Prashant Shuckle, who are giving us the benefit of their time, knowledge and expertise.

To Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, for showing his commitment to innovation, technology, and building bridges between the geospatial industry, academia, and government.

To the many federal departments who have agreed to send representatives to attend GeoIgnite, including Natural Resources Canada, the Department of Defense, Statistics Canada, Environment and Climate Change, Agriculture and Agri-Food, Public Services and Procurement, Employment and Social Development, Elections Canada, the National Capital Commission, and Public Safety. Also, to representatives from the Cities of Edmonton, Kingston, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Brampton. Your presence is helping to make GeoIgnite’s first year one to remember!
