Jonathan Murphy Joins the Board of buildingSMART Canada

I’m grateful and honored to announce my acceptance of a position on the Board of Directors of buildingSmart Canada.

For those unfamiliar, buildingSmart Canada stands as a preeminent organization dedicated to the development and implementation of open digital standards within the built environment. Their overarching mission is to propel interoperability, streamline data exchange, and foster collaboration throughout the construction industry. Notably, they have played a pivotal role in advancing the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies.

My appointment to the board is emblematic of the shared vision between GoGeomatics and buildingSmart Canada. By leveraging my expertise in geospatial technologies and my impassioned commitment to fostering collaboration, it is my  intent to contribute meaningfully to buildingSmart Canada’s overarching mission of advancing open standards and interoperability within the construction and infrastructure domains.

I extend my gratitude to the community for your continued support and encouragement. The journey ahead promises to be one of shared accomplishments and advancements. These are exciting times in the realms of Digital Twins, Reality Capture, and geomatics.
