Sponsor the 2nd Annual Back to School Social

Students may have just finished hanging up their backpacks for the summer, but here at GoGeomatics, we already have Back to School on the brain. That is, the 2nd Annual GoGeomatics Back to School Social!

Van BTSS 3

We’ve already started planning for this very special social event, taking place in cities across Canada this coming September. Last year, we brought together over 200 people in the geomatics community for the first ever Back to School Social. This year, our goal is to reach 250 participants. Check out this article for a look back on last year’s Back to School Social.

This annual event is for everyone, not just students. It’s a way to get together to welcome the newest members of the Canadian geospatial community to our sector, and to encourage networking among students and young professionals. This year, we’ll be holding  Back to School Socials in Vancouver, Nelson, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Niagara, Ottawa, and Halifax.

Call for Sponsors

We’re looking for leaders in Canada’s geospatial community to sponsor the Back to School Socials. Sponsorship will go toward the cost of food for the events, and cover the administrative and promotional costs of event planning and marketing.
