Careers and jobs have always been a significant focus at GoGeomatics. This tradition continues with the introduction of two new events aimed at supporting and fostering a thriving geospatial sector in Canada.

These events are designed to assist your human resources team in finding the talent necessary for your success.

• Calgary Nov 7-8, 2023: Western Canadian Geomatics Career Fair
• Ottawa May 14-15, 2024: Eastern Canadian Geospatial Career Fair

Planned as annual events, these fairs provide a unique opportunity to recruit talent passionate about technology. Motivated job seekers in the fields of computer science, programming, data science, geomatics, surveying, GIS, reality capture, digital twins, BIM, and location technologies will be eager to participate and learn.

The career fair will be set up separately but adjacent to the Expo in Calgary and GeoIgnite in Ottawa. It will consist of a recruiting hall with booths, as well as a dedicated area for networking, interviews, and presentations.

Job seekers will have free admission to the career fair.
