Speakers Include :

Ed Parsons

Geospatial Technologist at Google

Ed Parsons is the Geospatial Technologist of Google, with responsibility for evangelizing Google’s mission to organize the world’s information using geography, and tools including Google Earth, Google Maps and Google Maps for Mobile. Ed will present a perspective on new geomatics applications and concepts, and will speak about the latest advancements in the utilization of geospatial concepts in Google products.  He will also discuss and answer questions about the utilization of Google geo-spatial tools in your application.

General Rick Hillier

Former Chief of the Defence Staff of the Canadian Forces

General Hillier is an expert regarding leadership and teambuilding and has many lessons to share from the school of hard knocks. His presentation will focus on how team building is about embracing those in your charge and winning over those you need to work with – not about risk aversion or management fads. He will also present leadership principles that will challenge the way you run your business, start a project or take that next step in life, and will explain how leaders think, and have a vision.
This is also your opportunity to meet with TECTERRA and learn how your company can benefit from our full range of programs that support each phase of geomatics product development and commercialization. Our mandate is to help your geomatics business grow and enable you to get your technology to market.

Dr.Mohamed Abousalem

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Abousalem will speak about TECTERRA’s mandate to support geomatics product commercialization across Canada. He will review how your company can benefit from TECTERRA’s full range of programs.
