Alberta Geomatics Group 2018 Fall Learning Session & AGM

Date: Tuesday, September 25, 2018

Time: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm (breakfast coffee/danishes and lunch included)

Location: SAIT – MacDonald Hall, located in the Heritage Hall Building

Mark your calendars!  On Tuesday, September 25, we will once again hold our Fall Learning Session and AGM.  This event has always been popular with sell-out attendance.

We are still fine-tuning our day and working on our presentation schedule. Here is some information on just one of our presenters for the day:

Heather Campbell of MNC – We are so very pleased to have Heather present on the value of ESRI Storyboards.  With the development of Esri’s Story Maps, users can now combine authoritative, interactive maps with narrative text, image and multimedia content; all of which can be accessed from a single, sharable hyperlink!

Also included in the day’s schedule will be a brief Annual General Meeting that allows members of the AGG to ask questions of the past year’s activities and the activities of the Association for the upcoming year. Furthermore, there will be a discussion on exciting new initiatives supporting the AGG mission.

Registration will open in August.  Save the date and stay tuned!

Many thanks to SAIT for their sponsorship of the venue.
