Canadian Geography & Geo-Literacy: The GeoNiagara Radio Show is on the air

The GeoNiagara Radio Show seeks to engage and inform educators, students and the broader community about the relevance and importance of geography as a discipline and geo-literacy as an educational necessity in a world that is ever increasingly being informed and influenced by geospatial technologies and information. niagara_radio

The currently monthly show is hosted by Geospatial Niagara Founder Darren Platakis and 4th Year Brock Geography student Rachel Jordan (RJ) on CFBU 103.7 FM – Brock University Student Radio

Episode One of the GeoNiagara Radio show aired on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 and featured an interview with Brock University – Department of Geography and Tourism Studies Chair and Associate Professor – Dr. Chris Fullerton. This episode can be accessed here.

Episode Two will air on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 6:00 pm EST and features an interview with Dr. Charles F. Gritzner – Author of the essay “What Is Where, Why There and Why Care?”
