Celebrating Women+ in Geospatial, March 2022
Inviting you to join us for a celebration of International Women’s Day and the 3rd Anniversary of Women+ in Geospatial!
What started as a tweet in 2019, has grown into a global professional network of more than 3600 women+ working across the geospatial community. Through the activities of the network, we have seen more diverse speaker line-ups at conferences, empowered many through the mentoring scheme, and advocated for the benefit and importance of diversity in our profession. And we are certain that the best is yet to come.
Starting at 1600CET Tuesday 8th March 2022, the event will be moderated by Denise McKenzie with keynote addresses from W+G Directors Julia Wagemann, Olivia Powell, and Sabrina Szeto and a panel discussion with amazing speakers exploring best practices and the actions that we can all take in our own workplaces to support diversity.
