Second GoGeomatics Vancouver Social Photographs
Our second GoGeomatics social in Vancouver was a hit just like the first one. If I had to choose a word to define our social, I would choose surprised. I am surprised about how diverse and creative our community is. A gathering such as ours provides the opportunity to do more than having fun and networking. It provides an unique chance to learn about the projects everybody is doing: data management, documentation, programming, environmental resources and sustainability, spatial history. There are no limits to what one can do with GIS, and the members of our community are very well aware of that. I encourage everybody to attend our next social – I, for one, can’t wait.
