Ha ha…funny because it’s not really true. Most open source software (including GIS) have a large community of users that support each other. If it’s an error or bug, the development community pick up on it pretty quick since they usually below to the same community of users that support each other. I get better help in the open source arena than I do with the for profit software companies.
