The GoGeomatics Expo Welcomes The Canadian Hydrographic Association & The Ontario Association of Geographic and Environmental Education

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the Canadian Hydrographic Association (CHA) and the Ontario Association of Geographic and Environmental Education (OAGEE) will be sponsors of the GoGeomatics exhibition in Calgary, to be held from November 6 to 8, 2023.

The Canadian Hydrographic Associationis a non-profit organization committed to advancing hydrography in Canada. Its members, comprising industry, academia, and public service professionals, work together to exchange information and share advancements in the field. The association aims to raise awareness about the importance of hydrography at a national level, influencing policies and attracting new talents to the discipline. They also support training and education opportunities for aspiring hydrographers and foster partnerships with international associations for continuous progress and integration with related disciplines.

 

OAGEE

Founded in 1948, the Ontario Association of Geographic and Environmental Education is a registered non-profit organization in Ontario. The association aims to improve geography teaching in the region by coordinating member activities and disseminating relevant information. OAGEE’s strategic directions include providing educators with professional development opportunities and resources, advocating for curriculum excellence, expanding diverse membership, and nurturing strong partnerships within the education and geographic communities. Through these efforts, OAGEE continues to elevate geography education standards in Ontario.

The expo encourages all associations and groups aligned with the expo’s objectives to reach out to us, fostering collaboration in order to curate an exceptional event for the community. Our aim is to cultivate a diverse, captivating, and inclusive gathering, forging an alliance among industry stakeholders, government entities, academia, individuals, and associations, united for the betterment of the sector
