Consortech is joining GeoIgnite 2026 as Gold Sponsor, highlighting the continued importance of collaboration and interoperability across Canada’s geospatial technology sector. Operating together through the branding “Consortech, an FME by Safe Software Partner,” the organizations bring expertise in enterprise GIS, spatial data integration, automation, and geospatial workflows supporting government, utilities, infrastructure, and environmental initiatives across Canada.

Consortech is a Canadian geospatial consulting and technology firm specializing in GIS implementation, enterprise integration, asset management, and spatial data solutions. Through its partnership with Safe Software and the FME platform, the company supports organizations working to modernize and automate complex data environments while improving interoperability between systems and operational workflows. GeoIgnite 2026 will take place May 11–13 at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre in Ottawa, Canada.

At GeoIgnite, Consortech and Safe Software will share a booth in the GeoIgnite Exhibition Hall and participate together in leadership panels, including the Quebec Geospatial Forum. Their participation reflects broader industry conversations around connected data environments, operational efficiency, scalable geospatial infrastructure, and the role of spatial technologies in public and private sector decision-making.

“GeoIgnite continues to bring together organizations that are helping shape the future direction of Canada’s geospatial ecosystem through applied technology, collaboration, and operational expertise,” said Jonathan Murphy, Founder and CEO of GoGeomatics Canada. “Consortech and Safe Software represent an important example of how partnerships across the geospatial sector are supporting more connected and interoperable spatial data environments.”

GeoIgnite is Canada’s national geospatial leadership conference, connecting leaders from government, industry, academia, defence, Indigenous organizations, and the broader geospatial community. The conference focuses on the technologies, partnerships, policies, and operational challenges shaping the future of geomatics and location-based innovation across Canada.
