Deadline to Participate in the Expo’s SLAM-Off is Almost Here!
The deadline for registration in the SLAM Scan-Off is one week away!
This friendly “scan-off” will be a comparison of LiDAR mapping platforms that utilize simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology against an established terrestrial LiDAR (TLiDAR) platform. We have invited 14 companies with over 16 SLAM platforms from around the world to participate in this event.
The objective will be to navigate approximately 100 linear metres of a course set up at the Telus Convention Centre. The students at SAIT have designed and built this incredible course, making this a truly unique and fun activity!
