Making and Breaking Boundaries at CARTO 2023

CARTO 2023  – Making and Breaking BoundariesCarto poster

This year the Canadian Cartographic Association (CCA) is teaming up with the Association of Canadian Map Libraries and Archives (ACMLA) to host the first Canadian cartography-related conference since 2019 with an in-person meeting at the University of Calgary in Alberta.

To accommodate members and other interested people that are not able to attend in-person, CARTO 2023 will be a hybrid conference, with an virtual component that will enable meaningful online participation. Therefore we encourage map lovers from all across Canada and the rest of the world to join us. The conference will feature presentations on all aspects of cartography, spatial data collection, organization and map librarianship, and much more.

CARTO 2023 will be held June 14-16th with a pre-conference workshop on Data Creation using Drones and Lidar Technology planned for June 13th.

Everyone welcome, for more details on the program and how to register see https://cca-acc.org/conferences/current-conference
