A New Opporunity For Non-Profits

GoGeomatics Canada has made a policy change regarding event postings on our website. Although we used to charge a nominal fee for these listings, we are now offering free postings for all non-profit organizations in the geomatics sector. That’s right: non-profit organizations are now able to post unlimited events on gogeomatics.ca for free.

This is a great opportunity for organizations that are looking to boost their attendance at geomatics events across Canada. In addition to being featured on the GoGeomatics website, events are also advertised to our 6,000 bi-weekly newsletter subscribers, to our Twitter followers (from both the GoGeomatics & GoGeomatics Post accounts), our Facebook followers, and LinkedIn group members.

For additional information about posting free jobs with us, please contact info@gogeomatics.ca

A Canadian Geographer’s Notes from Nunavut

For the last five years, I have annually had the opportunity to spend time in Iqaluit, Canada’s fastest growing community in Canada’s fastest growing territory or province. This year, there was the chance to see John Walker’s Passage and to buy a copy of Darrel Varga’s book of the same name in the Canadian Cinema series.
