OGC Lifetime Achievement Award Goes to Prashant Shukle

A hearty congratulations to Prashant Shukle and his efforts on behalf of the geospatial community not only in Canada, but around the world. In recognition of his service Prashant has received the OGC Lifetime Achievement Award.

World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC)

The former Director General of the Canada Centre for Mapping and Earth Observation (CCMEO) is having a good month. September 2nd the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) announced that he was joining them as an advisor.

It is a compliment to the Canadian geospatial sector as a whole that our leaders, like Prashant, are recognized at home and abroad for their expertise and contributions. Congrats!
