GoGeomatics Canada attended the GISP workshop hosted by URISA Ontario on May 6th in Hamilton.  Over thirty Canadian GIS and geomatics professionals attended to learn more about the GISP certification and ask questions about their applications for certifications.

After the event, GoGeomatics Canada spoke with Sandra Crutcher, the Executive Director of URISA Ontario, and found out that the event was now at capacity for its May 7th Be Spatial conference.  The venue capacity is 250 people and the event has reached that ceiling.  Congratulations are in order to URISA Ontario for selling out the event.  GoGeomatics Canada will be tweeting out from the event all day today.
