Intermediate QGIS Course: Halifax, Supervised Classification & Change Detection Analysis

The virtual workshop, GeoTech Intermediate QGIS: Halifax, Supervised Classification and Change Detection Analysis welcomes you to participate on May 3, 2023, from 11 am to 12 pm.

During this workshop with Eric Purdie, EBP Geospatial Consulting Inc, Teaching Assistant, and trainer, participants will learn how to classify and extract different landforms (for example, water, land, roads, and more).of Halifax, Nova Scotia, using the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin.

There is some software, as well as some plugins, needed for the workshop. Be aware, participants will need QGIS / Semi-Automatic Classification and datasets such as the Canvec series, and Landsat 7 1999 to 2003 orthorectified datasets
