Spring Speaker Series: Intergraph & Education in Ottawa, Toronto
Brad Schmidt from Intergraph Canada will be stopping by our March socials in Ottawa and Toronto to talk about Intergraph’s innovative new educational programs, and parallel programs for business. This talk will highlight new developments such as point cloud modeling, UAVs for local area mapping, workflow automation, and crowd sourcing for infrastructure management, and present programs for accessing some of the latest technology from a geomatics industry leader. This is a great opportunity to hear about the latest in geospatial software right from the source, and learn how it can benefit your research, your classroom, and your company. You’ll have lots of time at the end to get all your questions answered, as well!
Everyone in geospatial academics, from professors to students, is encouraged to attend. But companies will find value in this talk as well. As you know, the geomatics industry is in a continual state of development. Educating students and young professionals remains paramount to preparing the next generation of innovators. Hexagon Geospatial/Intergraph is looking at the market differently, by providing ready access to a complete suite of geomatics software for the education and commercial industries. Here are just some of the benefits of the Intergraph Education Program:
- Annual or permanent core product lab licenses
- Add-on licenses for specialized products
- Free student licenses with purchase of lab licenses
- Educational server licenses
- Product support
- Teaching materials
- And more!
