For the first time ever, GoGeomatics is excited to announce we’re hosting a speaker at the upcoming Vancouver Social, sponsored by Intergraph Canada.INTERGRAPH

Brad Schmidt from Intergraph Canada will be making the trip to the beautiful west coast to discuss case studies and projects using disruptive technologies. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, explore new technologies, and learn about some of the cool things that are shaping the geomatics industry today. Brad’s talk will go over:

  • Applying new point cloud technologies for use in flood modeling
  • The use of UAVs for local area mapping, volumetric analysis, and other applications
  • How crowdsourcing is being integrated into geospatial data collection processes
  • And more!

GoGeomatics Socials are monthly networking events where anyone with an interest in geomatics can learn something new, meet others in the industry, and enjoy a great night out. They’re always fun, and always free. Our socials see geomatics folks from all disciplines and stages in their careers – students, professors, job seekers, young and seasoned professionals who are working in GIS, remote sensing, surveying, and more.

Join our Vancouver Meetup Group to stay up-to-date with our monthly social events!
