Are you a grade 7-12 student curious about maps, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and the technology behind it? Explore the field of geomatics and how it is integrated into our daily life (shortest route on Google Maps, locating positions on Google Earth, etc.). Learn how to use GPS devices to collect geo-referenced data, use software to plot your data and build a map as a final product.
